Situation
To use a flight analogy, this is when we review your current flight plan and see how your machinery performs.
During the first phase, we survey the situation. You have people, infrastructure and goals. You’ve ascertained your strategy. We take a good look at how it all fits together.
Who is leading your organization’s efforts? Is the executive team in agreement with the strategy? What is currently being done? How? With whom? Using what processes and resources? What works right now? What doesn’t? What creates these conditions? What happens as a result?
At the end of Phase 1 we have inventoried strengths and resources, identified barriers, and defined areas of improvement.
